Spoke with the patient's mother and she commented what exceptional assistance you’ve already given her son, with three checks already submitted and approved for his copays.
Free Drug Approval for Lynparza
I didn't want to apply for financial assistance through the hospital because I hold a volunteer executive position and I was concerned about a conflict of interest. I couldn't afford the $2,500 copay that was required for my medication and I can't believe you were able to find free assistance for me. It is so great to know they have a team like yours to help patients in this way. I am going to tell everyone on the Auxiliary...it is good to know that we devote our time to volunteer at a place that helps people in this way.
Breast Cancer Grant Award of $16,000
"You have made my week with this news! Everyone in the breast cancer center is so happy. Our patient is truly the nicest person and deserves all the help she can get. She didn't even ask for assistance; her mother mentioned her lackluster insurance plan to us - so we reached out to you at QCSS. Thank you so much for your efforts to find assistance for her. You deserve the rest of the day off!"
I can not say thank you enough!
~Oncology Nurse at GBMC
Under-promising & Over-delivering
"Thank you so much! You have under-promised and over-delivered throughout the entire copay card process - you truly are wonderful, and we appreciate all your assistance!" (Remicade Copay Card Patient)
My New Best Friend
"Wow - I didn't know this much help was available for my son's infusion expenses. I know we have only been speaking for 8-minutes, but I think you are going to be my new best friend" (Father of Crohn's patient)
"It's so wonderful knowing that there is someone in the world like you, who can help someone like me...As a thank you, I am sending you my recipe for Doris' Hummingbird Nectar"
-Doris G. (91, Help with affording Imbruvica)
Helps remove stress!
I’m so happy I can get my medications while I am at the hospital getting my chemo, it saves me from risking COVID while I am trying to also manage cancer.
-Norma M. (Metastatic Bone Disease)
Don't know what I would do without you!
I don’t know how to express my thanks, but Savannah, I don’t know what I would do without you...after finding a foundation that paid her entire annual premium and covered the $15,000 she owed the hospital
-Kathy R. (Multiple Myeloma)
Thank you for everything!
I just wanted to say thank you for everything you all have done for me. I have just received the letter from AbbVie informing me that I qualify for the assistance for Creon & on Monday I will receive my first order form them. Again, thank you.
Anthony V. (Pancreatic Cancer)
So much safer!
I love the idea of having my medications delivered to me during my infusions...so much safer than having to go to Target and pick them up while I am immuno-compromised, especially during this pandemic.
-Doris K. (Cancer Patient)
Thank you for helping my dad
Thank you so much for helping my dad. He takes care of my sister with Cerebral Palsy and lives off his social security check. His is so thankful his credit won’t be ruined with the $4,000 a month co-insurance over the next 6 months that he wouldn’t be able to pay
-Daughter of Richard G. (Acute Myeloid Leukemia)
Don't know what I would do without you!
I can’t believe we didn’t get pharmacy insurance last year. We just never used it before. I don’t know what we would have done without you guys, there is no way we could have managed the $14,000 monthly bill for Sprycel for Mike’s Lymphoma.
- Wife of Michael V. (Lymphoma)
Thanks for all your help. I told Tim yesterday at the hospital and it made him happy that we will be getting a check soon. He has been admitted to the hospital and we really need help because he can’t work for a while, he is so ill. This check will really help. He is very thankful for this grant and everyone’s help at GBMC.
